I had decided about 8 years ago that I needed to
express all the creative urges bubbling inside of me
and caledonea was the result.

Utilizing techniques long reserved for fibers, I started
manipulating metal into unique, wearable adornment,
coaxing the stiff,sometimes un-yielding material into
fluid, graceful shapes. I soon was searching for a
material that would add color and complete the visions that I had for my designs. I took the plunge into hot glass and haven’t looked back since.

Now my creations are accented with my flameworked glass beads and fused glass pieces, marrying the cold metal and hot glass into one of a kind adornment sought after by faithful collectors, who seek the extraordinary, unique, artistic flavor that my designs exhibit.
The past years have seen caledonea grow from a little thought to an ever-expanding venture, filled with exciting new designs, techniques and materials.
